Raising funds for Ukraine

Just over a year ago, Russia launched its brutal and unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Since then, over 40,000 Ukrainians have been injured in the war, many of which are estimated to be amputees. As a result, Victoria Hand Project (VHP) completed a successful pilot project in war-torn Ukraine where they travelled to a couple of partner sites across the country to train, set up equipment, and demonstrate fittings, with 5 amputees in need receiving one of VHP’s game-changing prosthetic hands.

Hearing this story, in addition to the money CJ*F raised for Ukraine last year, CJ*F was super pumped to take on the strategy and editing side of things to help tell this inspiring story to its fullest and hopefully help VHP reach its desired $100,000 goal.

That’s why CJ*F was so stoked to see that within days of the fundraising video’s release, VHP was just a few hundred dollars shy of its $100K goal! Now, VHP has doubled its goal so it could have that much more impact on the ground. How awesome is that?!

If you want to help make a difference too, please consider donating to the ‘Hands for Ukraine’ campaign today.

FUN FACT: If you’ve visited this site before, you might have recognized a few of the young ladies featured in this video were also volunteers in this short film that CJ*F shot and produced last year to promote climate crisis awareness. Small world!
