CrackerJackFlash turns five today. I couldn’t be prouder.
Back in Calgary AB, my company CrackerJack offered clients marketing solutions via strategic concepting, graphic design and copywriting. After moving to Victoria, BC, I was inspired to pick up a proper camera for the first time (what’s an ISO?!) to capture Vancouver Island’s beauty. I fell in love with photography!
Shortly thereafter, a few of my shots got some recognition, including a feature in National Geographic’s Your Shot (Moby), not to mention being published in Canadian Geographic (Calgary Library).
These wins inspired me to add photography, and later video production to my marketing arsenal, and voila, CrackerJackFlash was born!
5 years later, with the ability to offer my clients a more holistic marketing experience, I’ve not only been able to help my clients grow their businesses, I’ve also helped a few of them keep their doors open throughout the devastating impacts of Covid-19 closures.
It’s never too late to breathe new life into what we do, who we are, and who we get to serve. Here’s to my community and clients near and far who have supported the CJ*F evolution – I thank you. May we co-create amazing stories into the next five years!
